I love this little jobber duber!

I like that thing. No, I won't be using it as an external drive, so heat issues weren't an issue for me. I've used this on two laptops, one mine, one my son's to clone C: drives. Both 2.5 inch SATA SSDs and NVME drives can be used in our ACER laptops. My laptop was brand new with 265GB NVME and his was a 1TB mechanical drive. Some time ago I cloned his 500GB NVME mechanical drive and then after cleaning I formatted his mechanical drive and used it as a drive. Now it needs a bigger C: drive, so I bought a 1TB NVME and cloned it again. I just cloned my 256GB NVME so I have a bigger drive. So I put the new NVME into the case without closing the lid and used AOMEI Backerupper to clone it. I got it done in about 10 minutes. Easy. I used a USB Type-C cable to connect to my laptop.

Pros
  • Hard drive case
Cons
  • So far so good
