Exact OEM replacement parts for Z55 Autoride Suspension

Installation was easy, I did it on my street. I replaced the original shocks with Arnott 5 years ago and now I'm replacing Arnott with these. I put about 90,000 miles on the Arnott and started hearing a knock on hard bumps. It turned out to be a bolt in the shock bushing. I replaced the screw as the knurling and threading had worn out. Got a 10.9 screw from Ace Hardware and coated it with anti-seize. When I started the car after the replacement I got ABS and Service Stabilitrak messages. I knew these were the correct shocks so I searched the internet and found that the ABS wheel speed sensors are wired near the upper shock bolts. I threw out both plugs! Plugged it back in and everything works great now. I had to trim the auto-ride sensors when I raised the rear 1 inch. You want the air compressor to kick in "earlier" to keep the rear an inch higher.

Pros
  • Shocks, Struts and Suspension
Cons
  • Big and bulky
