This shock absorber is an updated model for GM Auto Ride Trucks. Last year I installed an earlier AC Delco, #580-451. These air shocks have only been in use for 11 months when I noticed the pump running more frequently. I thought the pump was bad since the shock absorbers were new. Looking under the floor I saw that the rubber boot on both shocks had torn apart and was leaking air. They only had 8,000 miles and had no towing or hard driving.
