Especially for the price, these tires can't be beaten. Take a look at the 235/55 radius 17 again. I have driven on around ten different tire kinds, so I have a basis for comparison. When making my decision, I read up on a few different exams and found that, in general, they were all appropriate for me to take. After a year of use, I was persuaded that the tests were accurate and that the actual behavior closely matched the descriptions in the documentation. They are nicely balanced, with an average of 50 grams each wheel, which is not terrible for a machine of this size, and they pass through puddles without getting wet without a second thought. Despite the car's weight and high inertia force, it can be stopped with a stake on any road. The noise level is slightly higher than typical, but since the tires are A/T designated, it is tolerable. I would recommend these as wonderful tires for crossovers and SUVs, but they probably won't fit on a car from a lower class.
