This is one of those "I wish I had this" devices. The production is above average. The coaxial cable is labeled but too small for my old eyes. The antenna basically consists of two rubber duckies mounted in the shape of a dipole. Undoubtedly, it has severe reception losses, but with relatively powerful transmitters for local police and fire stations, or a local repeater, this is sufficient for most scanners. This is not a DX antenna. This is a simple, fast surveillance antenna that you can attach to your bookshelf and hear local signals. If that's what you're looking for, this is a great answer.
