It could have been better, but it was worth it. I ordered this helmet for my husband as he chose it. He didn't want to spend a lot of money on a helmet, he likes the look and he didn't want MIPS. So this one fits just right and he says it's pretty comfortable. The only thing we don't like is that if you smack your hand on the helmet, you can feel the helmet hitting your skull. We compared it to my Giro road bike helmet, which is nothing like this. We found that I felt better when I installed thicker strips of foam from my helmet into this Giro MTB helmet. So we ordered replacement 5/16 inch foam straps (from Revain) and replaced them on top of the head. The foam tape on the forehead is pretty good and doesn't need to be replaced. I personally don't like how this helmet looks on the forehead, but it's all about protecting the head. So if you don't want to spend a lot, this is a great price and seems to work.
