Nice helmet that fits well. Light weight and easy to adjust. It is worth noting that the color of the matte gray helmet is much lighter than in the photo. Very light gray instead of darker. Although I like it.

I really liked the helmet, but the universal size is still too small for my head. Giro makes a larger helmet that looks exactly like this one called the Compound for people with big heads. I ended up returning Fixture for the Compound.

I really like this helmet. It fits well, is lightweight and allows for good airflow. I have a small head and most helmets don't fit me. This one fits like a charm. My husband goes too, he has a bigger head, and the other cheap helmet we ordered didn't fit him, but this one did, so we ordered it too.

I have only used this helmet for serious mountain biking and am glad I put it on today. I hit my head in a tree at about 20 mph. I wouldn't be writing this if I wasn't wearing this helmet. I've attached a picture of a crack in the foam material from the crash. Supposedly that's exactly what's supposed to happen in a helmet with a high impact. Even though the helmet is destroyed, it's clearly better than a cracked skull. So I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Giro helmet, especially at this price

This is the fourth bike helmet I've tried in a year. I found this to be the most comfortable on my large head. I also like the clean look. It doesn't have MIPS, but that's ok. MIIPS costs $20 more and is a new technology that has not yet proven its value. My previous favorite helmet was also the Giro. I still have it as a reserve. For a cheap helmet this is great. My M/L head fits him like a glove. Very comfortable, even with sunglasses. These MTB helmets are much better than road helmets as they cover the back of the head better. The only downside is the visor, it's too high to be useful. So, unclip it, cut off 1/2 of the inner tab holding it to the helmet. Then drill the front square hole and make it round. Be careful NOT to go all the way through the helmet.
