Review on Infrared Thermometer HOLDPEAK HP 2732 Pyrometer Thermometer by Marco Habersham
Good price not sure if accurate
Bought to take the temperature of a forge. It is difficult to get readings in both laser and infrared modes. The reading jumped from 250C to 980C, this may be due to heat waves coming from the forge but I don't think so. Fahrenheit is useless, at 800C F should be well over 125! Poor device but I'll probably look around for a better brand. I can't say anything about the accuracy because there is nothing comparable at higher temperatures. What is "heat" in this review?
