This radiator arrived very quickly. When unpacking, I noticed two differences from the standard device. First, the overflow pipe next to the radiator cap faced the opposite direction than the stock unit. End result after installation: Not significant as the small hose fits the outlet perfectly. No change, no effect. Second, the new block's bottom tube was made of plastic, while my standard old block was made of a metal alloy, probably aluminum. I had the choice of removing the plastic and putting in the standard, but chose not to mess with factory installed parts that were pressure tested before shipping. I would rather leave the pressure tested parts in than find out that my old part is not seated properly and I have a leak. Def is not a deal breaker for me. The plastic part looked thick and durable. Will it take ten years? Probably no. But I probably don't have much time left for the hybrid battery. So I have more important things to worry about than a cooler down the road. Luckily the quality of this radiator looked good I probably won't have to worry about it for at least five years I think, in which case it's worth what I paid for it. As one attendee noted, the foam dampeners around the stock unit are missing here, but at a fifth of the price, I don't dispute any of that. If you prefer them, I'm sure Lexus will be happy to sell you their foam-on unit for an additional $400. I know because I have already rated it. I give this product and its seller a thumbs up!
