Review on KYB SM5815 Strut Mount Bearing by Justin Trujillo
Not impressed with mounting kits
Out of the box they weren't very smooth. There was no drag, like there was grease on the bearings. They felt a bit jagged, like they were already corroded. When assembled, they cannot be turned by hand. They are noisy after installation. Not sure if they are any better than the ones replaced at 100,000 miles.
- Thrust bearings provide smoother handling and help keep front end aligned
