This is a great bike rack for all types of bikes, from standard narrow profile mountain bikes to narrow tire road bikes, adult or small. If you have a real fat balloon tire, measure I think it takes at least 3+3/4-4 inches. I originally bought 2 and just bought 4 more! They fold up and are easy to take with you on trips or move around the house or garage without having to bend down to pick them up. They are solidly built. This bike stand does not rest on the spokes or require my road bike to rest on the spokes like the two $20 stands I bought but won't be using now and they are much sturdier and easier to put the bike on to mount. They will not interfere with disc brakes. No adjustment required to go from road bike to cruiser to MTB bike! (Other stands have to be unscrewed and resized.) Bikehand has a spring and a pivot point, so even a heavy bike rolls easily on it and then holds the front and rear wheels securely in the stand. This is the best bike rack. I think they are suitable for indoor use and occasional travel. I take them on rides and love the security of not having to lean my bike against the car and worry about the wind blowing it away or blocking the doors to get things out of the car. I wipe dry when it gets wet to avoid rust. I think if not outside or in the rain then they are made to last! I have n+1 bike racks so I can keep one ready for weekend trips! It was shipped quickly and was well packaged. Directions are not required; Just push the cradle and the arm rises, ready to go! To fold for storage, pull the small silver knob a few millimeters and the lever can be folded and closed together with the stand. Can be stored under a bed or vertically in a closet. Little footprint. You found a bike rack. The half price ones aren't half as good. Be happy and don't waste time with others; Your bikes will be insanely drunk and you will be back here looking for this gem just like me! I didn't get anything to write this review.
