Review on 🔧 Detachable British Precision Stainless Flexible by Kevin Witherspoon

TLDR: Loved the size and the fact that they are both SAE and metric. Cheap design requires tools and 10-15 minutes cleaning. The clamps were tight and square after adjustment. That explains the different ratings. Details: I read the reviews and ordered a pair. I'm glad I have two to compare. Good for the price if you can spend a little time cleaning. Both looked flat and straight. Both clips/sliders were hopeless. One slider dangled so much it just fell off. The other was so tight I could barely move it. Both rulers had to be deburred. I used medium grit sandpaper to clean up the edges and corners. Using a small needle nose, tighten the loose clamp (neatly and gradually). I loosened the fixed clamp with a jeweler's screwdriver. A ruler was found to be about 5 mils wider on one end, causing the clip to stick at the end. Filed until the clip ran smoothly. Switch the clamps back and forth until both worked properly. OK for the price.
