To be honest I wasn't sure I would like them. I'm pleasantly surprised. They keep the coil and coil together which is a plus when I'm traveling with my car. I work with a variety of yarns (cotton, all purpose, quilting etc) and for some projects like my cotton and quilting. , I like to keep these spools of thread separate from others so they don't get snagged on thread holders with clothespins. Like it very much! Plan to order more. Please note that this will not work if you want to use them with spigot holders. You will need to purchase a different type of spool holder that fits on top of the thread spool.
