I'm new to sewing but I've tried probably 10 colors of thread/spools. What a mess trying to put them back together because so many of them are very similar in color. I just wish there was something to hang them from, but I think I can just hang them from a rope. Right now they're in the floss box as you can't put them upright in the floss box because... well there's something in the hole and because they're too big for the lid to close. I would love if they came up with a product that works…

To be honest I wasn't sure I would like them. I'm pleasantly surprised. They keep the coil and coil together which is a plus when I'm traveling with my car. I work with a variety of yarns (cotton, all purpose, quilting etc) and for some projects like my cotton and quilting. , I like to keep these spools of thread separate from others so they don't get snagged on thread holders with clothespins. I bought these and three other types of spool holders to see which one would suit me best. They're basic and do the job well, but it wasn't the right choice for me. YMMV.
