This phone works great except for the following features that are really lagging behind.1. cannot mute individual lines. For example, if I want line 4 to be used as a backup line and as a fax line, I CANNOT mute that line so it doesn't sound loud.2. Headsets only work with cordless desk phones (sb67148) and base, not cordless handsets (sb67108). So stupid. RCA does this and if they made a 4 line version of their phone I would choose that because the 2 line version works really well. Is there a reason we're forced to listen to voicemails through the speaker?4. This is really stupid - you can't use 1 voicemail for all 4 lines. With? I can't believe they missed this option! 5. This is one of the first places on the list for stupidity - the line itself doesn't hang if you finish and switch to another line without hanging up. SERIOUS? This is beyond stupid. This will connect the line in case you forget to hang up and switch. This missing function alone should mean a significant drop in price. What's going on with these companies today? I would have chosen a different Panasonic if the answering machine didn't cut off the last 10-20 seconds of some voice messages. Otherwise, the quality of the phones is really good. The sound quality is good and the range is excellent. It is used in the dental office and there is no static electricity or interference on the line. They are also very easy to connect to the base station. The price of this phone is really steep considering it lacks these basic features. We've only had it for about a month and so far everything is working as it should. Good. at least the included features.
