When using a case to protect/enhance your controller, using bottom charging chargers will not work, so you can only use those , which charge from the bottom USB-C port is at the top, since this area is usually not covered by skin. My only concern is that since the port is suspended like this, it could be damaged in an accident. Bottom loading style looks safer. Also, the light is too bright, so it is very noticeable at night or in a dark room. That's the only reason I deducted a star. Everything else works great - sturdy and the price is right.
