A month later, the plastic hinges on the lid that trap skin fragments broke!
This works better than my pumice stone to scrape dead skin off my heel after a shower. The handle and the metal rasp are "mesh". A not-so-large lid is needed, which attaches to the back to keep dirt in the file. The small plastic hinges wore out after 2 dozen open/closes (need to be opened and dead skin shed). Now I have to use that over the trash can and the leftover skin flies all over the place. If a manufacturer or competitor is reading this, PLEASE design a slider on the lid instead of hinges. It would be easier to use and would last indefinitely.
