I don't smoke, but I like to always have a lighter with me. You never know when you might need fire for something. I bought it, I would have to keep buying fuel. It works pretty well, but it has its limitations. It's great to use bitten cigarettes, light paper, or dry tinder to start a fire, but if you need something to melt rope, chocolate, or the like, then you still need a regular lighter.
