The quality of these pants is very good. It's a thick, durable material that can stand up to active kids. The waist measurement is smaller than expected. My son wears Huskies 16-18 so I ordered Huskies 20 to fit year round. They didn't even come close to encircling his stomach. These are great pants and well worth the money just order more
