This sweatshirt looks very high quality. The zipper is heavy and closes easily. This is the first sweatshirt with patch pockets that I've seen. They are not as comfortable but hold up better so my daughter is happy. The best thing about this hoodie is the cutout - it has a higher neckline so you can tuck in your chin all the way if you zip it up, to keep you warm - a nice feature in case of unexpected temperature changes in the transitional period. . Especially handy in our current weird winter, with cold mornings and crazy 60 degree days (in January! in Kansas!). especially if you are used to the size of a boy. We just received some new Cat & Jack Hoodies in Medium or 8 and this L 8/10 is smaller than the others. We bought the large so it still fits great but I wouldn't call it large.
