This is a beautiful and lightweight shelf that is easy to attach to the wall with double-sided tape. Worst case, you can put a screw in the stud (if you can find one) along with double-sided tape to hold it in place. The wood is light but effective for its purpose. right next to the door - you can put mail or sunglasses there without worrying about them falling off. I also really like hooks, there are a lot of them. I can stow baseball caps or a home jersey there and always have them to hand. Back to installation: There are already cutouts and eye holes on the back of the unit. So if you want to hang it up, you can use these. Also. I was surprised how much it has affected me and how often I use it. It's one of those things I wouldn't think about, but now that I have it, I use it all the time. This is very convenient and definitely saves time (as opposed to searching). I also use mine to store masks - to remind myself before I go to pick one up. Highly recommended!
