I bought these for the Fully Jarvis table as the threads suited my needs. However, the locking mechanism on these casters left bumps in the wheels, so I returned them. I unlocked the wheels when they arrived and the locking mechanism itself took a fair amount of effort to move but once seemed pretty solid. Place. However, I would worry about cutting myself on the metal if I'm not careful. Additionally, when testing the locking mechanism, the part that prevents the wheel from turning did not fully unlock along with the rest of the lock. I had to lock and unlock the wheel again, being careful to pull the lock a little to release the anti-rotation lock. (Sorry I didn't take pictures of that.) The bearings were covered in grease at the end, which made me wonder how long it would take for the excess grease underneath to pick up the extra dirt and stick together or hard to clean. turn. However, the main obstacle for me was the fact that the locking mechanism left holes in the wheel. Even after the casters were unlocked for a week while waiting for the table to arrive, there was no "bouncing" where the lock made contact with the wheels. As the wheel rolled across the ground, it was pretty obvious from the sound and feel as the lugs hit the ground that they weren't going to roll evenly. I didn't want to accidentally add a table and associated equipment. No matter what impact it may have had on the ground over time. Call me picky, but that wasn't up to my standards.
