Bought another brand of 800lm bike light. It's nice and bright, but the pattern is vertical rather than very horizontal. To keep it from hitting the trees overhead (and motorists) I figured aiming it in front of me would be the best compromise. Then I ordered Tesecu 1300lm (because I'm bored) and this light is PERFECT. It has a nice round focused light which I aim down the alley (with minimal light hitting trees and such) and I dim the light down to 800lm to match and fill the space in front of me. Well the 800lm light died after one charging session. and doesn't turn on. Love these Chinese lights. (No). and last night i just had to ride my tesecu 1300 lm and everything was fine. still plenty of light ahead of the bike to avoid debris and great focused light straight ahead and down the road. Love it. The backlight is also very good. hope it lasts longer than the other. The digital charge level display is a bit bright on dark roads. But I guess I can't expect perfection. and the little COB LED block blinking faintly white and red seems of little value to me. to the front light. so many options out there. this one seems like a good choice. beautiful.
