I placed one of these leakage sensors next to the booster pump. I program functions into Smart Things so my bedroom light turns on and the siren plugs into a smart socket. Everything went wrong that night and I thought it must be a malfunction. To my surprise, my pump broke. This little $25 leak sensor just saved me about $2000-$3000. It actually paid for itself on day one. My advice to all homeowners, buy these and save some money. I have many more to come for dishwasher, sink, bathroom, water heater, laundry room, etc. My drain pump was only a year old and I had no idea it was going to fail anytime soon.
