I am very satisfied with this product and the customer support from Schneider Labs. A parts per million test is included because it applies to things that shouldn't be consumed (like paint, soil, etc.) and doesn't need to be as accurate. I was pleasantly surprised that they also offer a much more accurate ppb test for consumable samples for a small additional charge of $25, so I decided to try some matcha green tea. I look forward to using this test again and trying other Schneider Labs products!
