I chose this Raspberry Pi stand mainly for its looks. All other pi racks aren't really that great. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the wooden version was real wood and not some sort of pattern printed onto a piece of plastic. I was a bit hesitant to buy it at first because some of the existing reviews said how difficult it was to build. I personally didn't find assembly very difficult, but the tolerances on the nuts are pretty tight, and several times I had to tap them lightly with a flat head and a small hammer to get them into the plastic caps. However, I was able to assemble everything in about an hour. The included instructions aren't very helpful, but I was able to watch the assembly video on YouTube with no problems. Once assembled, the whole body is very solid and looks great on a wooden table or desk. There are two more Pi and 4 official RPi PoE hats and we will be updating the fit.
