Review on Effortlessly Mash Potatoes with Joyoldelf Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Potato Masher by Ayoo Guzman

Revainrating 2 out of 5

How can you mess up something as simple as a potato masher?

It seemed like a very easy purchase. Stainless steel, looked solid, average 4.5 stars and great price. What can go wrong? Spring. The stainless steel is maybe a bit thinner than I would like and the whole thing doesn't feel very strong or durable. He describes himself as super powerful. I do not agree. But that wasn't the big problem or the reason for the two stars. The big problem is that, for me at least, I grab the pusher from above, press my palm over the top of the pusher and knead like that. But instead of a nice, smooth, rounded handle, this device has a narrow, pointed piece of metal that makes it terribly awkward to hold and use. I can only assume the guy who designed this never used a potato masher. in his life. One should also marvel at the depth of experience of the people who give it five star reviews <sigh>. This is a surprising design flaw. Definitely not recommended. Yes I know I could return, a little used. But it would be far better to get it right the first time. I hope my comments will save you from such a mistake.
