Not what I was hoping for

So when I first used a potato masher I accidentally bent it and the rubber handle slipped up and down so hard that this resulted in it being a very complex use. I had to remove it and just use bare metal with sharp corners. I think if you want to spend the most frustrating time just eating mashed potatoes then this is what you need. Strength can be improved in grip and metal. The only thing that saved me was my wife telling me we have another crusher (Oxo brand) that I used. This press turned a

Better for my hands

My mom and I love to cook. We often have some form of vegetable or fruit that needs to be pureed. Our regular potato masher was difficult to use as it was stiff and unyielding. The grater is bulky, difficult to use and you have to cook small batches at a time. We saw this pusher on a cooking show and honestly didn't think she could knead anything. I guess I was wrong. My mother used it the day after receiving it. She immediately mashed up two large avocados with no pain in her hands or wrists…

Stunning performance!

I have had a potato masher for many, many years. Until she finally had her last hacked potato party and collapsed halfway through. I ended up using my blender, which is what I do anyway. So I went to Revain and checked out what they have and saw this one and ordered it. I live across the pacific so we don't have ground shipping service but this press arrived pretty quickly. In fact, I had a boiled potato stain upon delivery! Perfect time! It was an amazing (get it? LOL 😂) performance! He…

THIS IS ONE! in Kitchen & Dining

You'll never know what you need until you learn the right path, take the wrong path, and then find your way back. I used to have a potato masher with small squares. I liked it very much. Used for over two decades. Then the paint started peeling off. Who knew it was drawn? Things I didn't pay attention to when furnishing my kitchen 25 years ago. Fast forward and I grabbed one at Walmart. Great brand. All stainless steel, but wavy. I couldn't mash potatoes with this thing at all! The pieces…

How can you mess up something as simple as a potato masher?

It seemed like a very easy purchase. Stainless steel, looked solid, average 4.5 stars and great price. What can go wrong? Spring. The stainless steel is maybe a bit thinner than I would like and the whole thing doesn't feel very strong or durable. He describes himself as super powerful. I do not agree. But that wasn't the big problem or the reason for the two stars. The big problem is that, for me at least, I grab the pusher from above, press my palm over the top of the pusher and knead like…
