Review on Winegard 47315 RP 4000 Roof Kit by Dawson Schmidt

All I can say is that it was a perfect match for my existing antenna worm gear and was part of a repair I carried out. I also installed a corresponding lifting mechanism for this purpose. The price was ok. Regardless of what this says about the kit, keep in mind that you'll likely need the proper lifting mechanism to properly address your concerns. I wish they were aluminum or something stronger, but maybe they are designed to break before anything else breaks in case something gets caught on the antenna. Installation went well, but note that the nut on the worm gear must not be overtightened or it will bind. I also had to trim the end a little to get my grip working properly.
