My new Dell XPS 9710 has Thunderbolt/USB-C ports. Luckily, you can use any of them as needed. The curse is the lack of native ports for other formats. I've mostly switched to USB-C/TB3 dongles from my other laptops and Apple devices, so I have a few breakout boxes and connectors, but sometimes you need a 1:1 cable specifically for simplicity and ergonomics. What I like about Afterplug is the short ribbon cable. They are designed to extend the existing cable as much as possible and route it to the outside. which I like as I usually connect my cables and run them vertically and flat. It's capped at 5Gb/s compared to the faster Gen 2 10Gb/s spec, but works as advertised. 5/5
