I installed them in my stair lighting system in 2017. No problem with the size as these were large lights compared to an incandescent bulb. They worked fine for about 3 years, I only replaced them again after 4 years. Many of the individual LEDs in the bulb had failed, so the light output was gradually declining. Luckily I had 5 bulbs and bought a pack of 10 so it worked. The photo shows the best of the lamps installed in 2017 (left) versus those installed in 2021 (right) from the same set of 10. The worst of 5 bulbs was completely dead, the rest were noticeably darker than the ones in the photo. I'm glad I replaced the 50w halogen bulbs, too bad the bulb life didn't increase.
