My husband compared and shopped five different Y Tubes for my truck. As he is picky and has been working on auto's almost all his life, he wanted the best overall item to help make my RAM breath better.It took, and he told me why, a couple hundred miles of travel to get it to it's final noise level and function. This is because the ECM (Electr management system - computer for autos/trucks. etc.) had to process and reset itself for the changes as a permanent base.My RAM already has K&N Filter intake, JBA Headers and now, the breathing is better with the compressed Join area removed and the Y-pipe in. It still is quiet enough not to attract attention and I already feel the difference.
