Purchased to replace a Starbucks double wall glass. This cup has served me well for several years but has become a drip cup despite no obvious signs of wear or damage to the lid seal. So this cup is now in recycling heaven. These new cups are a very acceptable replacement. Simple design, good lid and keeps coffee hot for a reasonable amount of time - much longer than a "ceramic" mug and even slightly longer than an old Starbucks mug. They don't keep the coffee as warm as a $30 Supercup, but they don't claim to be a $30 Supercup. You can put 12 ounces of coffee/tea/hot cocoa in a mug with just enough milk, cream, etc. and still have about 1/2"+ room to 'splash'. The bottom edges are nicely rounded so that the chance of damaging the wooden table is much lower.
