I assembled a system based on the AMD 5700X processor, went into the BIOS settings and was surprised - the memory runs at a frequency of 2400 MHz. I read the reviews - some write there that the memory is defective, etc. I was sad, but decided to deal with this issue after installing the system and programs. A couple of days later I entered a query into a search engine and ran into an article "Why XMP memory profiles are needed and how they work" on Zen. I remembered that I saw something similar in BIOS. I went into the BIOS, turned on profile 1 and the memory worked at 3200. As it turned out, modern planks have profiles on which they will work stably. By default, the memory runs at the default frequency for the system with a voltage of 1.2V. But you can manually install one of the two XMP profiles hardwired into memory and the system should work stably.
