During these darker days of the year, we enjoy candlelight at dusk, to share both the quiet and a comforting adult beverage. These tapers are delicate - 6" tall and just 3/8" in diameter. Beeswax is natural, and purifies the air. The candle itself smells a bit like honey, but they do not exude any scent upon burning. They burn clean and dripless, with a very stable flame, and they relight with no trouble. Total burn time is about 1 hour. I wonder what they are intended for; I've had similarly shaped candles labelled for use in a menorah. What I use them for are some vintage candle holders of my grandmother's, that are small glass stars, with a 1/4" opening for a slender taper such as these. I drip a little of the wax in the candle holder to stabilize the taper for lighting.
