Epson ink will dry out if you don't print every other day. HP inks are still ready to use even after months without printing. As I rarely print, my Epson sits on the shelf because when I need to print I have to change all the ink, recalibrate the printer and lose connection to the computer. I have never had this problem with HP inks and have been using the printer for 7 years now. (Epson was for photo quality printing and it didn't even pay for the prints it was able to produce with 3 rounds of Epson branded inks.) Highly recommend HP for their inks.
