This was a Christmas present for our 4 year old. He loves listening to music and has difficulty playing alone in his room. So I thought maybe his own boombox would help him. A few reasons I chose this one; 1. It was cheap, I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a 4 year old boombox. It has a CD player and AM/FM radio.3. It can be connected to the wall or used with batteries.4. This was a big deal, you can jump to the radio station number you want instead of trying to wiggle the watch face back and forth until you hit a radio station. We've made some CDs of some of my son's favorite songs to teach him how to be responsible about things like this and he's actually fine. He learned very quickly how to change CDs, turn on and off, switch between CD and radio and much more play alone in his room. I recommend!
