📻 Black Portable Top-Loading CD Boombox with AM/FM Radio + 3.5mm Line In for MP3 Device by GPX Inc. Review

We bought this boombox for a very simple solution for my grandfather to be able to listen to his favorite CDs in his room in his nursing home. It's 93 years old, so we were looking for something with really simple play, pause and volume buttons. He found it easy to use and really enjoyed listening to music. Great deal and definitely the easy fix we were hoping for.

Don't buy this junk. Couldn't get it to work the first time, returned it after two different support reps told me to press two different buttons to boot the CD. None of them worked. And the battery compartment felt very tight for the batteries, which kept falling out. I spent the better part of 4 hours yesterday getting it working. Complete garbage. I returned it. Revain was great and paid for return shipping after GPX people said I had to pay. Got a replacement today and it still doesn't work…

This was a Christmas present for our 4 year old. He loves listening to music and has difficulty playing alone in his room. So I thought maybe his own boombox would help him. It is true that the digital age has arrived and CDs are not as popular as they used to be. However, some of us still have huge CD libraries.
