I love Christmas lights! We also started decorating our house with garlands for Halloween. Although the orange was an obvious transition to color, I thought the purple highlights looked really cool. I want them to swap places with Orange, but it would be a perfect world. I'm sure they do those twinkle lights too, but it's just one color with a bunch of different modes. First of all, you can change the mode to Flash or some other modes. However, if you have a light on the timer, the default mode will revert to a random setting. This applies to all lights that have modes, so this is not a bug with this set of lights. I would recommend and buy more if needed.
