Product as shown, works with my Munchkin baby gates. It includes two plastic adapters (one for the top and one for the bottom) to extend the gate (see my photo). Note that the top horizontal bar on the expansion kit is SQUARE (see photo); while the top and bottom horizontal bars on Munchkin gates are larger rectangles and the inserts require a larger rectangular band. To accommodate the size difference, the extender comes with a plastic adapter to convert the large rectangle on the baby door to the small square on the adapter. The second plastic adapter is a rectangle to rectangle for the bottom bar. There is no square to square adapter; Therefore, it is physically impossible to connect a 5.5" extension cord to a second 5.5" extension cord.
