I had high hopes for this diagnostic tool. The main use was for the home but was first tested in a professional environment to ensure the product is trustworthy and reliable. The gold standard is the "PP" signature block. So it's good that this is a decent device and the performance specs seem accurate. Hertz readings are questionable at times, but close enough if samples are taken long enough. The graph gives a rough but acceptable picture of the values. Poorly! Both of my devices have what I believe to be a fatal error. It doesn't load every time. You will need to "play" with the +/- clamps until the software loads before use. Sometimes you have to try more than half a dozen times to get the device to boot! It's a piece of junk when that happens. A blank white screen is just as useful as a Windows blue screen of death! Completely unacceptable and disappointing in a professional environment where time is money. Back to the drawing board, Ansel! I always reach for my "PP" block when I'm on the clock.
