Review on 🚗 GM LS-Series Melling M295 Internal Oil Pump, Wet Sump (Standard Volume) - Each by Nate Jenkins

I replaced cams and heads on my Silverado 5.3 from 2000. The engine has about 270,000 miles on it and so far I have changed the camshaft and timing chain as the old saying goes because you could have changed it too! The OE still held good pressure but was slowly losing about 30% of the oil life remaining on the monitor (37psi idle, 45psi cruise). Lasts 60 after warming up at cruising speed and 42-45 at idle. Melling oil pumps have never let me down! Updated 05/02/2019. 5700 miles since installation, still holds a great cruising speed of 42psi with a hot idle of 57-60psi (50-70). Mileage of the pump since installation 23000km. Still great and the same PSI as my last update (about 42 idle, 57-60 cruising) with no issues!
