I purchased this product a while ago based on a small sample of Jack Black that I received with some other products. A small sample in a foil pack turned out to be a great shampoo and I loved it so bought this large bottle through Revain. As soon as I received this bottle of Revain and started using it, I immediately noticed that things were a bit off. The smell wasn't the same. and this shampoo didn't lather as well as the sample pack. I was disappointed but just decided not to bother with it and the bottle sat at the end of my shampoo line for almost a year. I've used it from time to time. just leave it out because it sucks. After thinking for a while I decided that I really liked the original pattern so I went straight to Jack Black's website and bought a bottle of Jack Black straight away. When this bottle arrived I compared it to the bottle I bought from Revain. There were many, many significant differences in the bottle itself and in the labeling and in the labeling and the UPC code label. I immediately had a suspicion that what I had been thinking all along was true. The stuff I got from Revane was fake! When you open a new shampoo and squeeze a little out of each bottle, it becomes even more obvious. The material I received direct from Jack Black was a very different color. it was pearlier, whiter and creamier. After using the new bottle, I experienced a pleasant smell, amazing lather, and a quality shampoo that I experienced even with a sample from a small foil pack. Real Jack Black Shampoo is nothing like the Chinese crap they sell on Revain. DO NOT waste your money on that expensive shampoo by buying it through Revain only to get free shipping. Go straight to Jack Black's website and buy it there. You will not regret it. The actual product is actually an amazing shampoo.
