I bought this set because I was very impressed with my mother's Original Pro Collection cookware set. My mother had the original Pro Collection set for over 10 years (bought in Germany) and it is still in perfect condition. Each pot works just as well as the day my mom bought it and has a great base that dissipates heat perfectly. Perfect, hard-wearing, high-quality! Pots are worth their money. They are so well made that they will likely last several lives before I can claim their warranty. The lids are heavy so you don't have to worry about the saucepan splashing all over the oven. The pot cooks so evenly that there is no hotter spot. Uniform heating throughout the journey. And this pan doesn't cool down quickly, it keeps food hot (not warm) for at least an hour or two. The handle also stays cool. Best of all, I no longer have to worry about replacing/buying pots. Great product from a trusted brand.
