The mat I received was 11.5 " x 17 " - will not work in a 12 " x 16 " frame.
The outside dimensions of the mat I received are 11.5 inches by 17 inches and the inside dimensions are 8 inches by 11 inches. Designation. but the carpets are half an inch thinner and an inch longer. I am returning the item because it does not fit in the 12" x 16" frame - I would have to crop it but the width is too small and you would see the edges of the mat.
