I use Xfinity to access the internet on my 2.4G home network. Recently stopped working evenings - just can't get through to a single server. I was approached by a Comcast tech who told me the problem was unrelated to their service which was working fine. He told me to switch to a 5G network but my computer is not equipped for it. I have confirmed that I paid someone quite a bit to install an internal dual band wireless card. Then I found out that you can buy a much cheaper external USB adapter instead. VOILA! This Techkey adapter is easy to install and WORKS! HOORAY! I'm a very lucky tourist.
