The balancer on my 07 4.0 ST came off and threw away the pulley section. It was cheaper than buying it locally at a parts store, so I went with that. I had no trouble installing it, the only thing I find different from the OEM is that the trigger ring is cheap - it looks more like a metal cage than the real solid metal original. While it still has a 36-1 layout and still works, once it starts to rust I'm not sure how well it will hold up over the long term. All in all this is a good and cheaper alternative to home parts which can be identical.
