Weak compared to the 28-135, which is only a third of the price. A little better and heavier structurally, but the picture quality of the 28-135 is far higher. With 28-135, I went to pick 24-105, did so, removed both under similar circumstances, and returned the 24-105. The price they're asking is ridiculous. At the price, you will be really dissatisfied with it. I was sure once again that the dreaded "L" means separation or divorce (with the exception of some models, which everyone already knows about). You get the impression that I snapped the photo with a soap dish for three thousand dollars, rather than a 5Dmk3, because there is no texture or structure in the image. Hence, I was unable to find a replacement for 28-135 once I had started. Even though I have some issues with it, mostly related to the design, the pricing makes up for it.
