Review on WeValor Spinning Dance Pole Kit: Portable & Adjustable Height Stripper Pole For Beginner And Professional Dancers, Includes Dancing Gloves! by Matthew Oumer

Pretty good for the price

Just wanted to write a review to help others looking for a pole! I have had this up for a week now, installed it alone, took about 45 min and I only cried once lol. The instructions don’t make much sense but watch some YouTube videos for help (all brands seems to be about the same to install). It comes with all the tools you need. Nothing screws into the floor or ceiling, and I love that it doesn’t damage either. This pole was definitely covered in some post factory grease or grime… had no grip on this pole at first but I’ve scrubbed it with alcohol and a sponge for a few days and now it’s much better. The gloves that it comes with are too big for me and really do nothing for grip. The metal sleeve (goes in the top) already left a gnarly scratch on the pole during install. There is already some warping at the seams, but it functions fine. A bit more resistance (to spin) than the poles I am used to, but I heard if it’s loosened from the ceiling dome a tiny bit it should help (but BE CAREFUL! Not too loose). I have a 100 year old house with bead board ceiling (true boards, not the plywood faux sheets they sell, that wouldn’t be strong enough) and it feels secure up there. But definitely find a stud or put plywood between ceiling and top dome if your ceiling is flimsy or you aren’t sure how sturdy it is (new houses especially - be careful!) Make sure to adjust every few dance sessions and make sure everything is in place and secure. Especially before inverting or running into a spin! Hope this helps!

Pros
  • Sports
Cons
  • The product may not be suitable for those with limited upper body strength or physical capabilities, as pole dancing requires a high level of strength and endurance
