The first set I received didn't connect to my google phone. I've literally tried everything. Configure router settings, verify operation on 2.4GHz frequency, all troubleshooting steps that were included in the brochure and in the application. So I replied to a customer review email with my experience and how the lighting works great, but I can't use the google integration and dimming so I bought it. They responded within a day and asked for my address to ship a new kit, no questions asked! Excellent customer service! On the second set, the lights went into AP mode (press and hold for 5 seconds until it flashes quickly, wait a few seconds, then hold for another 5 seconds. In AP mode, it flashes slowly), follow the steps to set up AP mode in the app (the network wasn't named as it says on the app setup screen, but it was an obvious SSID with the word 'smart' in it, so I chose it, followed the steps and all went smoothly!I added google home like any other device very smoothly.The first time I clicked add to my home it said it failed but I immediately tried again as some devices failed do when I've tried to add them in the past.Then it connected successfully and works great!Perfect brightness at night, with a warmer tone but not amber like some lights.Check Take a look at the picture under our parasol, at the brightest setting.
